Viewing Reports
Once a site is connected and active in the Ninjalytics app, the Reports list (the left icon in the bottom navigation bar) shows the reports that you can view in the app. This includes report templates built into the plugin and user-defined reporting presets. Tap any item in the list to view the report.
Report Views
Reports open in Table view by default. The buttons near the top left of the page allow you switch between Table and Chart view. Chart view supports line, bar, and pie charts based on the chart type configured in the report preset or template.
Reporting Date Range
Next to the table/chart toggle is the date range display. Tap here to change the time period for which the report is run. The date range can be specified in one of four modes, selected from the tabs at the top of the date range window. For more detailed information, refer to the information on Report Dates in the plugin documentation.
Quick
Choose from a list of date range presets, such as "Last 30 days", "Today", "This year", and so on. The date range is autmoatically calculated when the report is run.
Relative
Calculate a date range relative to the date and time at which the report is run, using a variety of options.
Absolute
Run the report with a specific start and end date and time.
Expression
Use PHP-compatible expressions to calculate the start and end date and time, such as "3 months ago" or "last Monday".
Refreshing Reports
Once retrieved, report data is cached on your device for quicker access. The date and time of the last report data update is shown at the end of the report screen. Tap the refresh icon to get more up-to-date data.
Refreshing the report data will not update any changes to the report preset settings that may have been made on the site. To update the report configurations for all reports on the site, open the report list and refresh it by swiping down from the top until the refresh icon appears, or by tapping the refresh icon at the end of the list.
Editing Reports
The app currently only supports viewing reports, not changing their settings. You can edit reports in the Ninjalytics plugin on your site.
