Overview
Automatic Product Categories for WooCommerce is a powerful automation tool that dynamically assigns categories and tags to WooCommerce products based on custom rules. This eliminates the need for manual categorization, making store management more efficient.

Installation & Setup
Install the Plugin
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard.
- Search for "Automatic Product Categories for WooCommerce".
- Click Install Now, then Activate the plugin.
Access the Plugin
Once activated, go to:
BerryPress > Automatic Product Categories
How It Works
The plugin allows you to define rules that automatically assign or remove product categories and tags.
Rule Structure
Each rule consists of:
- Name: Optional text field for identification
- Status: Enables or disables the rule
- Conditions: Define criteria for when the rule should apply
- Actions if true: Specifies what happens when conditions are met
- Actions if false: Specifies what happens when conditions are not met
- Triggers: Determines when the rule should execute

- Run rule manually
- Remove rule
Creating Rules
Add a New Rule
- Click "Add New Rule".
- Enter a Rule Name.
- Choose the Conditions for when this rule applies.
- Select the Actions to perform (at least one action is required).
- Set the Triggers (when the rule runs).
- Click "Save" or "Save & Run Selected".
Managing Rules
Edit an Existing Rule
- Locate the rule in the Rules List.
- Click Expand to edit.
- Modify conditions, actions, or triggers.
- Click Save.
Delete a Rule
- Find the rule in the list.
- Click Remove.
- Confirm deletion.
Bulk Actions
You can apply multiple rules at once using the Bulk Actions buttons:
- Save & Run Selected: Saves and applies the selected rules immediately.
- Run Rule: Executes a specific rule on all products.
- Remove Rule: Deletes a rule permanently.
