Ninjalytics

Ninjalytics is the next-generation successor to Product Sales Report, Product Sales Report Pro, Export Order Items, and Export Order Items Pro, bringing fast, flexible ecommerce reporting straight into your WordPress admin. It combines more than a decade of reporting experience from both plugin families into one rewritten reporting engine, with built-in charts and support for multiple ecommerce platforms — all with backwards compatibility for your existing presets from any of them.

  • Reports & Exports - Build Reports (aggregated totals — top products, sales by day, dashboards — the territory Product Sales Report covered) or Exports (one row per order or line item — fulfillment, accounting — what Export Order Items was built for) from built-in templates or from scratch, with a live preview as you configure filters, fields, and grouping. View Presets & Templates Report configuration

  • Charts Pro - Turn any Report into a bar, line, or pie chart, and pin the ones you check most to the WordPress dashboard as auto-updating widgets. View chart configuration

  • Multi-platform support - Ninjalytics reports on WooCommerce (high-performance order storage and legacy order storage), Easy Digital Downloads, and Live Carts from the same interface. View compatibility

  • Ninjalytics mobile app Pro - Run saved report presets and check home-screen widgets on Android or iOS without opening wp-admin. More about Ninjalytics mobile app

  • Add-ons - Schedule report emails or embed reports on the frontend using the same Ninjalytics presets, via separate BerryPress plugin add-ons. Ninjalytics add-ons

Migration from Product Sales Report or Export Order Items

Ninjalytics Free

If the Product Sales Report is on your site already, that's the same plugin as Ninjalytics Free, and your presets should carry over on their own.

If you're migrating from Export Order Items, that's a separate plugin, but Ninjalytics still picks up its settings automatically and turns them into a report preset the first time it runs — see Migrating.

Ninjalytics Pro

Migrating from Product Sales Report Pro or Export Order Items Pro works the same way — Ninjalytics Pro picks up their settings automatically the first time it runs. See Migrating.

Run your first report

This walkthrough assumes Ninjalytics is already installed. If it isn't yet, follow Installation & Activation first — the Free version needs no license, and Pro requires activating your key.

On Plugins → Installed Plugins, the free edition may still list itself as Product Sales Report for WooCommerce. The admin menu label is Ninjalytics either way — that's expected, just two names for the same plugin.

Once it's active:

  1. Go to Ninjalytics → New Report, click Use Template, and pick Top Selling Products (or any other template).
  2. Open the date range picker above the preview, choose Last 30 days, then Refresh.
  3. Open Settings → Table & Downloads in the sidebar and click Download to save it as a CSV.
  4. Click Save to keep it as a preset — you'll find it again under Ninjalytics → Reports.
Inclusive dates

Both the start and end date count toward the report, so an order placed on the last day is included. Legacy Product Sales Report Pro worked the other way. See Report dates for more.

On Pro, the same steps apply once your license is activated, and you'll also have access to new settings, XLSX downloads, the Chart tab, and the mobile app to explore.

On a large store, start with a narrow date range while you're testing, and raise the PHP memory limit if a big export times out — see hosting requirements for specifics.
