Fields

This toggle lists the fields that will be displayed in the report table, or that can be shown in the report chart. Each field row may have some or all of the following controls (from left to right):

  • Remove field button: Click to remove this field from the report. You can't remove segmentation fields; to remove these, disable the corresponding segmentation option and the field will be removed from the fields list automatically.
  • Field name box: Change the name of the field, as displayed in the table header or chart legend.
  • Drag handle: Click and drag to change the field order. Pro
  • Edit button: For calculated fields only, click to change the field's definition. Editing a field changes all instances of that field in all report presets. Pro
  • Total checkbox: Shows when column totals are enabled in the Table & Downloads section. Check this box to compute a total for this field. Not available for certain known non-numeric fields.
  • Chart checkbox: Check this field to render it in the chart.
  • Round checkbox: Shows when rounding is enabled in the Data & Display section. Check this box to round values in this field. Not available for certain known non-numeric fields.

Add Field

You can select fields to add from the following categories (not all categories may be available on your site):

  • Built-in Fields: Standard fields that are platform-independent for supported ecommerce systems.
  • Product Pro: Product meta fields.
  • Product Taxonomies Pro: Output taxonomy term name(s) associated with the product.
  • Product Variation Pro: Product variation meta fields.
  • Order Item Pro: Compute totals for order item meta fields across all order items reflected in the row or data point.
  • Calculated Fields Pro: See the section on Calculated Fields.
  • Addon Fields Pro: See the section on Extending.

The Quantity Refunded, Gross Amount Refunded, and Tax Refunded built-in fields only work with line-item refunds. They require the Quantity Sold, Gross Sales, and Taxes fields to also be included in the report, respectively. For more information, please see the documentation for the Include line-item refunds setting.

Click the Add button to insert the selected field at the end of the fields list.

Click the New Calculated Field button to define a new calculated field, for use in this report and other reports. See the documentation on Calculated Fields for more details.
